Across multiple consulting assignments it was noticed that there are a number of small skills that add to the efficiency of all users that utilise IT on a daily basis. The issue for a large number of organisations is that they lack a co-ordinated approach to sharing these base skills across existing and new staff, without investing in overly expensive learning managmeent systems or expensive off-site training that produces little increase in productivity.
The Cloud One approach is to break these skills down into bite sized chunks that allow a user to spend 5 minutes learning a skill and to provide a reference for future use.
